Replace the Engine Air Filters

There are two engine air filters.The outer/primary and inner/secondary filters.

Open the compartment on the left-hand side of the excavator.

Pop open the clamps, remove the lid, and both filters.

Before installing the new filters, wipe out the inside of the filters’ housing with a clean cloth.

Check the seal for damage before putting the lid back.

The cap has a top mark that should face upward — the dust ejector should be down.

Lastly, put the clamps back over.
