FortisTracks was created by a group of heavy equipment owners who wanted to help their peers get replacement tracks, tires, and undercarriage parts quickly and affordably through online procurement.
In industries that use heavy equipment — construction landscaping, mining, oil & gas, and commercial & residential development — out-of-service equipment is directly responsible for project delays and lost revenue. The owners of FortisTracks, with 150 years of combined industry experience, deeply understand the pain and revenue losses caused by equipment delays.
Together, these entrepreneurs recognized that a common cause of delays was a reliance on “pre-internet” processes for ordering & shipping replacement tracks, tires, and parts for their excavators, skid steers, track loaders, crawler carriers, and other types of earthmoving equipment.
A concept to do better was born and Fortis Tracks was built to solve the following problems:

In 2017, the FortisTracks website was launched and an immediate uptake of orders was placed. So many orders, in fact, that the distribution centre was inundated with nearly too many to fulfill in the promised timeline. The owners of FortisTracks decided that in order to meet the requirements of a demanding market, they needed to build out their distribution network. The site was temporarily halted until this distribution network could grow.
Fast forward to 2019 and strategic partnerships with earthmoving track, tire, and part distributors across every corner of North America have been made.
