Hold Nuts and Bolts Without Magnets (NUT GRIP)

Hold Nuts and Bolts Without Magnets (NUT GRIP)

The Ko-ken RS3441M/5 is a 3/8" drive universal 6-point NUT GRIP socket set built to hold non-magnetic nuts and bolts securely—without using magnets. Each socket uses two ball bearings retained by a spring steel ring, so when the fastener is inserted, the balls push against the spring and grip the fastener for confident starts and fewer drops. Sockets are organized on a 150mm rail for quick selection and clean storage.

    What “Universal” Helps With

    • Slight misalignment when you can’t keep the ratchet perfectly straight

    • Accessing fasteners near brackets, hoses, or castings where you need a bit of angle
    • Faster hand-starting when you’re working one-handed and don’t want the nut/bolt falling out

    How NUT GRIP Works

    • Two ball bearings + a spring steel ring hold the fastener on opposing flats

    • Insert the nut/bolt and the balls load the spring ring

    • The fastener stays held in the socket so you can guide it into position before tightening

    In the Box

    • (5) Ko-ken 3441M NUT GRIP sockets: 8, 10, 12, 13, 14mm

    • (1) 150mm socket rail

    Best Use Notes

    • Great for non-magnetic hardware where magnet sockets don’t help

    • Ideal when you’re starting fasteners in awkward positions and want fewer drops
    • Universal design is for access/angle—not for replacing a dedicated universal joint when extreme articulation is needed
