    A Short 5/16" Socket That Holds the Fastener Without Magnets

    Ko-ken’s NUT GRIP® design holds non-magnetic nuts/bolts firmly inside a 6-point socket using a spring + opposing ball bearings (not a magnet). Great for starting fasteners one-handed, working overhead, or pulling hardware out of tight pockets where dropped nuts are a problem. Compact “short” length keeps access tight and controlled.

    • Two ball bearings sit on opposing flats and are retained by a spring steel ring.
    • As the nut/bolt enters the socket, the balls push outward against the spring tension.
    • That pressure holds the fastener securely so you can guide it into place without relying on a magnet
