Securely Holds Non-Magnetic Nuts & Bolts (Without Magnets)

NUT GRIP® is Ko-ken’s special design that uses two balls retained by a spring steel ring to hold non-magnetic nuts/bolts firmly in a 6-point socket—great when you need the fastener to stay put during start-up or removal. This 1/4" drive semi-deep rail set covers common small metric sizes (8–14mm) in a compact 150mm organizer rail.

    What “NUT GRIP®” Actually Does

    • Helps retain non-magnetic nuts/bolts in the socket (no magnet needed).
    • Uses a two-ball + spring steel ring design for grip and retention.

    Where This Set Makes Sense

    • Starting small fasteners in awkward positions where dropping hardware is common
    • Light mechanical/electrical brackets, clamps, and small assemblies where 8–14mm is the daily range

    In the Box

    • 4x NUT GRIP® semi-deep sockets: 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm
    • 150mm socket rail

    How to Use (3 Steps)

    1. Push the nut/bolt head fully into the socket until it feels retained.
    2. Keep the socket square to the fastener as you start threads.
    3. Once started, run it down normally and finish to spec.

    Safety Notes

    • Always torque fasteners to the manufacturer’s spec.
    • If the fastener is damaged/rounded, stop and switch to the correct extraction method.
